Target = Input x (Source N factor / Target N factor)
All forces are converted to Newtons as the base unit, then converted to every other unit.
A Newton (N) is the SI unit of force. It is defined as the force required to accelerate a 1-kilogram mass by 1 meter per second squared (1 N = 1 kg·m/s²).
Pound-force (lbf) is the force exerted by gravity on a 1-pound mass at standard gravity (9.80665 m/s²). A poundal is a smaller unit: the force required to accelerate a 1-pound mass by 1 ft/s². 1 lbf ≈ 32.174 poundals.
Kilogram-force (kgf), also called kilopond, is the force exerted by gravity on a 1-kilogram mass. 1 kgf = 9.80665 N. It is commonly used in engineering contexts outside the strict SI system.
1 pound-force (lbf) equals approximately 4.44822 Newtons. Conversely, 1 Newton equals about 0.2248 lbf.
A dyne is a CGS (centimeter-gram-second) unit of force. 1 dyne = 0.00001 N = 10 micronewtons. It is used in older scientific literature and in surface tension measurements.
The gravitational force is weight = mass x g = 70 x 9.80665 ≈ 686.5 N (approximately 154.3 lbf or 70 kgf).
